Facilities, kit & crew

Everything around
the studio floor.

A shoot is more than a room. Here is the green room, the production office, the kit, the crew and the estate the whole thing sits on.

The green room

Somewhere to
put people.

Contributors, clients and presenters need somewhere comfortable that is not the corner of a live set. Our green room serves both studios and keeps the floor clear.

Guest comfort

A calm space to prep, reset and wait — away from the lights and the noise.

Tea & coffee

On tap all day, plus a cafe on the estate open Wednesday to Sunday.

Three desks

Room for a producer, a client and an editor to work without crowding the floor.

Live streaming

Both studios can stream live. Monitor and coordinate from the office.

The production office

A base, not
just a room.

Three desks for planning, calls, live monitoring, rushes, coordination and client viewing. Available to clients on any studio booking.

Kit packages

Add the gear
to the room.

Camera, lighting and grip packages are available on top of any studio hire. Prices depend on the package and the length of the booking — tell us the job and we will quote it.

Crewing service

Local crew,
found for you.

Cumbria has good people in it. Finding them from outside the region is the hard part. We help source experienced local crew for your shoot — camera, sound, lighting, production support — so you are not driving a team up from Manchester and paying for the privilege.

On the estate

Crofton Hall.

The studios sit in The Clocktower on the historic Crofton Hall estate, fifteen minutes west of Carlisle. It is a genuinely pleasant place to spend a shoot day, and the practicalities are sorted.

Free parking

Plenty of free parking on site, right outside the door. Unloading is a few steps, not a trek.

Cafe on site

A cafe on the estate open Wednesday to Sunday — useful for lunch runs and client meetings.

Motorhome park

A motorhome and caravan park on the estate, handy for crew staying over on multi-day shoots.

15 min from Carlisle

Straightforward run from the city, the M6 and the Lake District.

Ready when the call sheet is

and the crew in one go.

Send us the brief and the dates. We will put together what the shoot actually needs — not a package you have to work around.
